OK, winning an award is a great marketing tool for your business, and the evening itself is also a great opportunity to catch up with old colleagues and make new business connections. But all of that pales into insignificance compared with the sheer joy of being crowned the number one in your chosen field.
If you don't enter the UK Packaging Awards, though, you won't have the chance to experience this elation at the Grosvenor House on Monday 3 November 2008.
Competition was tough in the 2007 awards, but the rewards for those companies that made the most effort were tangible and the boost to their profile immense.
If you decide to enter the 2008 UK Packaging Awards, I recommend you read the entry guide in the following pages carefully - it would be a shame to miss out on your chance of a prize because of an oversight in the entry process.
I wish you good luck, although the one thing we can say with confidence is that luck is not a factor in winning a UK Packaging Award - preparation, hard work, creativity and excellence are what count above all else.
