Superb schemes from up and down the UK feature in this year's shortlist for our annual awards.
The response has been tremendous. And although it has been a difficult year for many in the regeneration sector, the high standard of entries continues as the best projects from the physical regeneration, economic development and community renewal sectors defy the recession with outstanding schemes.
Our panel of expert judges will be travelling across the country in the next few weeks to visit projects and complete the difficult process of picking a winner.
We've been particularly impressed with the response to our two new categories: Culture-Led Regeneration and the Award for Boosting the Local Economy.
There are also two prestigious categories that cannot be entered: our Lifetime Achievement Award and our Grand Prix, for the most outstanding category winner this year.
All winners will be announced along with our highly commended entries at a gala dinner in September.
