Judging process

 

Judges will be drawn from the entire spectrum of the industry. Judges will be looking for evidence of clear strategic thinking, innovation and effectiveness. The key factor will the tangible results and proof of marketing effectiveness. Good use of budget and techniques used will be secondary considerations.

 

In particular, the judges will be looking for:
• understanding of the business issue or objective
• tangible results which prove effectiveness
• innovative thinking and integration within the marketing mix
• design, creativity, creative impact and entertainment
• improved business performance
 


Each entry will be assessed against these criteria and the judges will decide the short-list. Award winners will then be judged from this group. If the judges have a conflict of interest with one of the entries (ie if they have entered the category up for discussion), they are asked to declare their interest in the work so they do not influence the decision of the other judges.
